Small & Large Frames

Small-frame models use lightweight cast aluminum housings, while large-frame models use ductile iron load-bearing housings with aluminum covers.

Capacity & Lift Range

EC hoists cover 1/4 to 5 ton capacities with standard 10, 15, and 20 ft lifts and other lifts available to suit specific applications.

Flexible Voltages

Standard single- and three-phase voltages are available, with optional two-speed motors on many models.

Trolley Configurations

EC hoists can be supplied with plain, geared, or motorized trolley suspensions for manual or powered traversing.

Wrap-Around Trolley Plates

Trolley side plates wrap around the beam to act as safety lugs and bumpers, protecting wheels and reducing beam flange stress.

Precision Trolley Wheels

Mechanical Load Brake

Weston-type mechanical load brake controls load lowering, prevents load drift, and holds the full rated load independently of the motor brake.

Multiple Disc Motor Brake

Direct-acting, multiple disc motor brake provides positive stopping, load spotting, and reliable holding whenever power is removed.

Alloy Steel Gearing

Precision-machined alloy steel gears run in an oil bath with helical gearing for quieter, cooler, and longer-lasting operation.

High-Torque Motor

H4 duty class hoist motor with Class F insulation delivers high torque for heavy-duty industrial service with 60 Hz standard and 50 Hz available.

Ergonomic Controls

NEMA 3R ergonomic push button station uses 24 V control for operator safety, resists impact and corrosive atmospheres, and fits comfortably in one or two hands.

Internal Strain Relief

Internal strain relief supports the push button station cable to reduce stress at the entry point and extend control-cord life.

Chain Guide

Robust chain guide resists jamming and keeps the load chain properly aligned with the load sheave for smooth operation.
